Dental hygienist
I enjoy learning how to logically evaluate situations.
Until the early 18th century, dentistry did not exist as a separate field of medicine. It was only from 1810 onwards that dentistry began to develop as an independent science. I can draw parallels here with my own career path in healthcare. Initially, I dedicated my first ten years to working as a nurse. Then, my interests shifted toward dentistry, which marked the beginning of a long and dedicated educational journey.
A dental hygienist is a qualified healthcare professional within the dental team, specializing in oral disease prevention, as well as the formulation and execution of periodontology treatment plans. Having more than 25 years of experience in the medical field allows me to be confident in my practice. However, as science evolves, it requires continuous knowledge updates and ongoing professional development. One must be able to critically analyze situations and effectively apply both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
In my work as a dental hygienist, I enjoy learning how to logically assess situations and make sound decisions to resolve them. It is essential to possess strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. It has always been fulfilling to help people, and I always strive to do my work to the best of my ability.
